Dreamed of You

Dreamed about you last night. You were so beautiful. Your eyes So mesmerizing My heart stopped As I took a breath And then I just wanted To hold you Once more Again But this time Never let you go.

Dreaming about you last night Held you so close You leaned back And smiled At me. And I knew How much I loved you And had always loved you

But then something changed And I feared I would lose you In my dream And dreaming of you Became tense And I tried so hard To tell you To convince you That I loved you And wanted you Forever.

But then It all became So confused And I didn’t want To lose you. Again. I realized what a fool I had been And I tried Desperately In my dream Not to let you go.

But then you were gone. And I awoke. You filled me thoughts And heart. I couldn’t think of anything else All day long. And I think of you now.
